Fresh Sam, the owner and designer of INFATUÉ, is a good friend of Kick The Concrete's. She was kind enough to share the story behind her powerful "Be The Light" collection in 2024 and continues to live out the same mission we believe in.
We had to have her as a guest on "Kickin' It with Fan Day Nation," our podcast show with Fan Day Nation. She talked about providing tools for the next generation of creatives through her new course, "How To Create a Clothing Brand." We enjoyed chatting with her about how she balances creativity and entrepreneurship.
A recent project that Fresh Sam did that we were excited to discuss was the awesome jacket she made for DJ Whoo Kid, which actually turned out to be for the one and only Eminem!
The designer also saluted Kristin Juszczyk for her groundbreaking work in the cut-and-sew space. The way that Juszczyk upcycles NFL jerseys and gear is similar to how Fresh Sam crafts her work.
It was fun to learn about how one of her favorite creations was a lamb skin jumpsuit she made for Imani from The Pharcyde. She loves making people feel confident in themselves!
