The NBA Cup has arrived.
The tournament, which is in its third year, has faced criticism for introducing increased competition midway through the season. It's also felt gimmicky because of the colorful courts and hype of playing the semifinals and title game in Las Vegas.
But in 2025, the NBA Cup brought legitimately good basketball. The Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs each scored 130 points in their quarterfinals matches. They faced off in a heated back-and-forth battle in the next round. Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks beat Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs to win the tournament, their first title since capturing the 1973 NBA Finals.
The NBA Tunnel was just as fierce. For the Spurs, Wembanyama and Devin Vassell kept things cool while Josh Hart and Jordan Clarkson held down the Knicks in sharp black looks. But some of our favorite fits were actually from earlier in the tournament.
Here's the NBA Cup Drip Check:
Victor Wembanyama
Victor Wembanyama was classy in this navy cotton Louis Vuitton sweater with buttons on one shoulder. The San Antonio Spurs superstar paired it with khaki trousers and suede loafers. The proportions are very well done.

Wendell Carter Jr.
Wendell Carter Jr. caught our attention wearing the RIVINGTON roi Rebis In Times Like These long sleeve shirt with a pop of neon green. It fits wide and short, so the Orlando Magic big man put it over a white tee. Brown wide leg pants and Louis Vuitton mocha brown trainers completed the look.

Ajay Mitchell
Ajay Mitchell was easy breezy in this blue plaid flannel shirt with bootcut jeans and white Air Force 1 sneakers. The Oklahoma City Thunder guard added a simple double chain for just enough pizzazz.

Josh Hart
Josh Hart was walking like a winner wearing Kith’s Reade shirt in black leather with intricate paisley cut-outs. The New York Knicks guard finished the look with matching leather cargo pants and the Amiri Star Court sneaker. Super cool.

Devin Vassell
Devin Vassell was preppy in this heather gray Kith rugby shirt. The San Antonio Spurs guard paired it with Bottega Desires Holy Grail jeans that feature the brand’s name in crosses. Bless up.

Jordan Clarkson
Jordan Clarkson proved he’s one of the most stylish players in the league in this luxe all black look. The New York Knicks guard wore a velvet Chrome Hearts button-up with a see-through cross pattern, slouchy black leather pants and pointed leather boots. This is a masterclass in mixing fabrics.

Lu Dort
Lu Dort understood the assignment. The Oklahoma City Thunder defensive star wore an almost monochromatic look with this beautiful brown painted nappa leather jacket from Acne Studios, burgundy canvas work pants from MM6 Maison Margiela, and crocodile skin boots. The look was for the quarterfinals, but honestly, it doesn’t get better than that.
