The WNBA Playoffs are off to a hot start in the first round.
The Golden State Valkyries wrapped up their fashionable inaugural season with a playoff appearance. The Minnesota Lynx sent them home in two games by only one point.
The Las Vegas Aces will continue in their hunt for another WNBA championship after beating the Seattle Storm in three games. A'ja Wilson just won her record fourth MVP title on the court and perhaps she's on track to be one of the best dressed in the tunnel, too.
The Phoenix Mercury are moving on after beating the New York Liberty in three games. This is great news because they are perhaps the most stylish team in the postseason and we can't wait for more fits.
Here's the WNBA Playoffs First Round Drip Check:
Monique Billings
The Golden State Valkyries made a major statement in their first year in the league not only because they made the playoffs, but because they always delivered in the fashion game. Monique Billings led the Valkyries in Game 2 with 15 points, but she looked très chic in an all white outfit ahead of Game 1. The pinstripes are a classic touch and the red handbag and beret? Oui Oui.

Brittney Sykes
Brittney Sykes was too cool for school for the Seattle Storm's Game 2 in this fit styled by Kylie Gelfand. She was one of the many players who made a statement in denim. She wore a jacket and pants set from Diet Starts Monday where there’s a peep of the print in the jeans. Finishing off the look with clean Air Force 1s is perfect.

A’ja Wilson
Ahead of winning her fourth MVP title, A’ja Wilson was locked into the first round of the playoffs. She wore sweat shorts and a plain T-shirt for Games 2 and 3. But for Game 1, she looked like a warrior princess in a burgundy ensemble. iCON Billingsley put her in a structured Jan-Jan Van Essche look from their Spring/Summer 25 collection and she was ready for battle. She had 28 points and 8 rebounds in the game.

Satou Sabally
The ever-fashionable Satou Sabally did not come to play in a series of Earthling outfits throughout the Phoenix Mercury's first series. But this snakeskin printed shirt and shorts set for Game 1 stood out as the best. It flows off her body well and the knee-length boots complete the statement. The look boosted her to an almost double-double with 9 points and 8 boards.

Jackie Young
Jackie Young, who celebrated her birthday during the first round of the playoffs, impressed in this well-fitting denim set for Game 1. It’s Calvin Klein and stylist London Wilmot tossed in a Prada tie to boost it to that next level. She had 18 points and 7 assists in the game.

Kathryn Westbeld
Kathryn Westbeld put on a masterclass in layering with this outfit ahead of Game 2 when the Phoenix Mercury tied the series. The rich berry color gives life to the tan overcoat and pumps and the skirt is just the right length to be flirty yet sophisticated.

Kahleah Copper
Kahleah Copper was duality at its finest in this Romeo Hunte look for Game 2 for the Phoenix Mercury. The navy pinstriped jacket is classic while the oversized sweat shorts are the definition of cool. The Mary Janes add some flair and the detail on the tie is superb. She had 14 points to help even the series.

Kalani Brown
Kalani Brown might not have seen much time on the court in the first round of the playoffs for the Phoenix Mercury, but she made her name known in the tunnel. We could have picked any of her outfits, but she was red hot in this little red dress from Diesel for Game 1. It’s proportioned well, shows off her curves nicely and the chrome purse and knee high black boots… no notes!
