The 2025 Formula 1 British Grand Prix had no shortage of drama. Lando Norris won his home race for the first time and celebrated in his own merch with a whole grandstand to himself. He snatched the victory after his McLaren teammate, Oscar Piastri, was given a penalty for braking behind the safety car in the rain. But perhaps the highlight of the day was Nico Hülkenberg getting third for the first podium of his career.
The historic race is associated with names like Jackie Stewart, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton, who has won at Silverstone a record nine times. His streak of 12 straight podiums at his home circuit was broken with his fourth place finish, but his fashion game was strong as always.
Fernando Alonso, George Russell, Franco Colapinto and Isack Hadjar also looked stylish with the help of their team's sponsorships and collaborations. And Raye stole the show with her dazzling performance.
Here's the 2025 F1 British Grand Prix Drip Check:
Fernando Alonso shows who's boss
Boss has been making quite a splash in the sports world, especially after outfitting the top draft picks in both the NBA and NFL this year. Their success continues in Formula 1 with Fernando Alonso at the British Grand Prix. The two-time champion looked spiffy in a white double-breasted suit.

Lewis Hamilton makes Silverstone his runway
No other driver takes his style as seriously as Lewis Hamilton does. The nine-time British Grand Prix winner embraced his heritage throughout the weekend. For media day, he wore a bedazzled outfit by Burberry that featured a Union Jack design.

Hamilton then wore a red and blue jacket from his own +44 brand. The highlight of this year's Silverstone drop was a football scarf.

Franco Colapinto has a Perfect Moment
Alpine might not be the top team on the track, but they know how to do a clothing collab (see their Duke + Dexter collab from the Miami Grand Prix). For Silverstone this year, the team partnered with Perfect Moment, a luxury outdoors brand, for a very cool collection. Both the team and the brand are from France, which makes a lot of sense. Franco Colapinto did a great job showing off the sporty leather jacket. The stripes are, for lack of a better word, perfect.

Lando Norris shines bright
It was Lando Norris' weekend. The McLaren driver had his own grandstand at Stowe, called Landostand. He rewarded the fans who sat through the rain with his first home win. Despite the clouds, Norris shone bright in his own LN4 gear, a neon green kit and baseball cap.

Isack Hadjar shows off Visa Cash App Racing Bulls x Slawn collab
Isack Hadjar is impressing in his rookie season. He had his highest finish, P6, at the Monaco Grand Prix, and has made it out of Q3 in every qualifying session so far this year. He's following in the footsteps of his hero, Lewis Hamilton, not only on track, but in embracing the fashion of F1. At the British Grand Prix, he proudly repped the Racing Bulls' awesome collaboration between Hugo and Nigerian-British artist Slawn. Hadjar wore the team jumper with some cool black Hugo trousers.

Hadjar then wore this cool ghoulish brown HUGO hoodie that shows a different take on Slawn's signature graffiti bubbles.

George Russell embraces his culture with adidas
Mercedes might be missing Lewis Hamilton and his fashion sense (the team was even hiring a stylist after he left for Ferrari), but they are doing their best to stay hip. Fellow British driver George Russell embraced the team's adidas sponsorship and donned a newsboy cap that was part of the weekend's merchandise offering. Keeping it neutral with a gray zip-up sweater, he looked quite dapper.

BONUS: Raye stunned in custom Ferrari
Any F1 weekend is more than just a race these days. The British Grand Prix is arguably keeping pace with the United States in creating a full experience for fans that includes music. Last year, Stormzy performed — in a storm. That was going to be hard to top. But event organizers got British superstar Raye to give a concert this year. The singer looked stunning in a bright red corset and skirt set by Ferrari. It fit like a glove and the horseshoe detail is incredible.
