Willy Chavarria is the brand everyone’s talking about. The New York-based designer was named the CFDA's American Menswear Designer of the Year back-to-back in 2023 and 2024. He captivated the sartorial world with his attention-grabbing shows at New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. He celebrates his Chicano heritage with graphic tees, long shorts and zoot suits.
Everyone is clamoring for a piece of Chavarria's authenticity right now, but Lewis Hamilton is a steady supporter. Hamilton has made a name for himself not only for being the winningest driver in F1 history, but for his bold fashion sense. Often with the help of stylist Eric McNeal, Hamilton has donned designer, supported streetwear stars, and even started his own brand, +44, to express himself through his clothes.
And of course, Willy Chavarria has been in the mix. As the lone Black driver in F1, Hamilton is intentional about uplifting fellow minorities. Here's a look at the times Lewis Hamilton wore Willy Chavarria as the designer rose to international acclaim:
Lewis Hamilton x Willy Chavarria at 2024 Mexico Grand Prix
This one might be our favorite. Lewis Hamilton wore a bright green, red and white Willy Chavarria track suit for the 2024 Mexico Grand Prix. It just made perfect sense for the British driver to rep El Tri here since the designer is so passionate about sharing his Mexican heritage with the world.

Lewis Hamilton x Willy Chavarria at 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix
The first time Lewis Hamilton really repped Willy Chavarria was at the 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. He wore a black track suit with the brand's signature V piping in red on the Bad Boy jacket from the Fall 2024 collection. The Met Gala co-chair put his personal spin on the look, wearing the jacket slightly unzipped without a T-shirt underneath to show off his tattoos and one of his signature accessories, a pearl necklace.
Lewis Hamilton x Willy Chavarria at 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton took a break from the Willy Chavarria track suits and wore a cool mechanic-inspired outfit to the 2024 season finale, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The all-white look is clean and the pop of red adds some spice.

Lewis Hamilton x Willy Chavarria at 2025 Australian GP for first race with Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton is intentional in every outfit he wears. He's toned down the high fashion looks since joining Ferrari, and we do miss them, but it is fun to see his excitement at repping the Scuderia. For his first race with Ferrari at the 2025 Australian Grand Prix, he flexed his style sense again by wearing his new team's fiery red color via another Willy Chavarria Bad Boy track jacket and work pants.

Lewis Hamilton x Willy Chavarria at 2026 Australian GP
Lewis Hamilton really loves the Willy Chavarria Bad Boy track jacket. He opted for the navy blue one to start the 2026 season, his second campaign with Ferrari, but one with completely new regulations. The jacket said "Freedom Belongs To All" on the back, proof that Hamilton is still using his platform to spread a positive message.
Lewis Hamilton x Willy Chavarria in China 2026 with his mom
This one shows that Lewis Hamilton considers Willy Chavarria a lifestyle brand. Not only does he wear it for the runway of the paddock, but he wears it to be casual and comfy, too. Recently, he posed with his mother in front of a beautiful waterfall ahead of the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix and was wearing a cool graphic t-shirt with one of Chavarria's signature motifs, a rose.

Lewis Hamilton x Willy Chavarria at 2026 TeamLH China Art Show
Lewis Hamilton wore the butter yellow Bad Boy track jacket when visiting Team LH China’s art show also ahead Chinese Grand Prix. He looked very cool admiring all the colorful, whimsical pieces celebrating his career. This jackeet also said "Freedom Belongs To All" on the back. What a powerful statement.
After sporting both of the above looks over the weekend of the Chinese Grand Prix, Hamilton finished third in the race to capture his first podium with Ferrari. The brand must be good luck!
