NFL Week 8 Drip Check: Justin Jefferson is glitzy in Amiri, Kendrick Bourne impresses in striped suit

The NFL tunnel is a place for everyone to express themselves!

Players of every position, experience level and background have the opportunity to make a statement. Some players like to experiment with designer brands and glitzy accessories. Other prefer a sharp suit. And others are perfectly comfortable in the team-issued sweat suit.

That's what makes the world go round, right?

In Week 8, the New York Jets got their first win of the season along with Azareye'h Thomas' first NFL start. The Los Angeles Chargers and Buffalo Bills also earned a victory on the field with players that shined in the NFL tunnel. The Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers weren't so fortunate on the gridiron, but these players held it down in the fashion game.

Here's the NFL Week 8 Drip Check:

Azareye'h Thomas

Azareye'h Thomas showed up ready for his first NFL start. He looked cozy in this red, cream and brown knit cardigan from Boohoo. He paired it with baggy shorts and Prada sneakers for an effortless fit.

It gave him the confidence to rack up five tackles while replacing All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner in the New York Jets' first win of the season.

DeShon Elliott

DeShon Elliott had lots of mystique in this all black outfit. The Pittsburgh Steelers safety opted for a black overcoat, T-shirt and trousers. A team hat kept the look from being too "Matrix"-y and still obtainable.

Benjamin St-Juste

Benjamin St-Juste knows style. The Los Angeles Chargers cornerback returns to the Drip Check because he kicked off the week in this clean white double-breasted suit. It’s crafted by Patrick Feio of Glorius Custom. The winning detail has to be the pearl buttons.

The look powered him to seven tackles, making him the lead defender in the Chargers' Thursday night win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Jessie Bates III

Jessie Bates III was too cool for school. The Atlanta Falcons safety wore this green Celine varsity jacket with Celine khaki pants. He accessorized it with Air Force 1 sneakers and a green Goyard bag for excellent coordination.

He had a quiet night with two tackles in the home loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Larry Ogunjobi

Larry Ogunjobi looked fresh before racking up three tackles in the Buffalo Bills' dominant road win over the Carolina Panthers. He wore this denim work jacket with black shorts and a skinny tie. Chad Johnson of Duane & Johnson said he whipped this look up for the defensive tackle in only three days!

Impressive.

Kendrick Bourne

Kendrick Bourne is in the running for suit king with another strong look. Pharoah did him right again with this red and black striped double-breasted suit. The San Francisco 49ers receiver made a bold statement with patent boots, a Jesus piece, Miu Miu shades and no shirt.

He had three catches for 44 yards in a loss to the Houston Texans.

Justin Jefferson

Even though the Minnesota Vikings lost in primetime, Justin Jefferson deserves a standing ovation for this fit. Darnell Booker scored with this glitzy gold embroidered jacket from Amiri. He paired it with black pants also from Amiri and topped it off with studded Oxfords from Louboutin.

Put it in the Louvre. There's room now.
