With the release of Tyler, The Creator’s most recent album, "Don't Tap the Glass," we are reminded that his creativity knows no bounds. He attracts attention not only in the music scene, but also frequently in the fashion industry, and we wait with beating hearts on which fashion giant he will be collaborating with next.
Tyler’s mere appearance in Bottega Veneta's "Craft is Our Language" campaign to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their iconic Intrecciato leather weave proves there is star power just in his presence. But collaboration through his GOLF WANG and le FLEUR* (he dropped the GOLF in 2022 for a more refined aesthetic) brands is his love. His signature pastels and grass-green color choices, his love of preppy pieces like the cardigan sweater, and the jackets — oh, the jackets — have the fashion industry clamoring to mix their brand power with his.
Here are Tyler, The Creator's Top 5 Fashion Collaborations, according to Kick The Concrete:
Tyler, The Creator for Converse
Tyler, The Creator began collaborating with Converse in 2017. It came as no surprise since, as a SoCal kid, he wore Converse in his ascent to superstardom. And we still see him in Converse all the time. Throughout the years of collaboration, he's put his stamp on the sneakers with the GOLF le FLEUR* flower on the One Star (2017) and flames on Chuck 70s, reminiscent of the fiery artwork theme from "Cherry Bomb" (2018) and Darryl Chucks with "a dog on it" (2024). Today, we find him looking back in the Converse archives and creating the Converse 1908 Collection. The iconic boat shoe and the jogger are given a fresh look under Tyler’s supervision. And of course, there's always a hoodie, hat or tee to grab from the collections, too.

Tyler, The Creator for Supreme
In describing Supreme in a promotional video, Tyler, The Creator says, “the ill thing about this is, like at 16, 17,18, 19 like, Supreme was like our Louis Vuitton. Like that was like our top of the line…” His love for Supreme hit the big stage in 2011 when he won the MTV Music Video Award for Best New Artist and wore an olive green cap with a leopard brim from Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection. Supreme can count Tyler as one of the stars who put them on the map and helped create hype for the exclusive brand. But collaboration between the two didn’t come until the Fall/Winter collection of 2024. The excitement was what you’d expect when two wholly connected brands team up. Just their hint of a collaboration caused quite a stir. The Tyler Photo Tee was the final product.

Le Fleur* x Lacoste Capsule Collections
In 2019, Tyler, The Creator debuted his collaboration with Lacoste at the French Open. The 16-piece capsule collection featured pieces Tyler wears quite often, like a cardigan sweater and bucket hat, in his signature springtime palette. In 2023, they teamed up again with an ever-preppy collection of sweaters, jackets, tees, skirts and trousers to offer a complete look in Tyler's favorite color palette of pastel blue, pink, yellow and beige. And the pearl buttons were to die for. Lacoste described the collaboration on their website as reflecting “the distinctive worldview of le FLEUR* while seamlessly incorporating the classic design that has made Lacoste a household name worldwide.”

+44 x GOLF WANG Collection
+44 is the fashion child of Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton. Known for its limited-edition, race-inspired apparel, +44 collaborations create excitement because of the world-renowned artists they work with and the design emphasis that celebrates the city hosting a specific grand prix. The +44 x GOLF WANG Collection created quite a stir when it was released in November 2024, right before the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Fans lined up outside for the +44 x GOLF WANG Retail Experience at Encore Beach Club in the Wynn hotel to get their wonderfully whimsical gear before they headed to the track for the race. The pastel jackets, hoodies, button-ups, t-shirts, hats, and more were also available at GOLF stores in London, New York City and Los Angeles.

Louis Vuitton Spring 2024 Men’s Capsule by Tyler, The Creator
Possibly the most complete fashion collaboration Tyler, The Creator has done is his Spring 2024 Men’s Capsule Collection for Louis Vuitton. It had him working with an idol-turned-friend, fellow music genius and Louis Vuitton Men’s Creative Director, Pharrell Williams. Williams gave Tyler space to design everything he loves. Staying true to his color inspirations of chocolate, vanilla, pastels, and grass-green, Tyler created not just sweaters, jackets, hats, shoes and yes, a chessboard, but also a whole set of luggage with his own hand-drawn version of the LV logo that's been dubbed the “craggy monogram.”
